China and Malaysia have a long-standing and good trade relationship, and in recent years, the comprehensive trade between the two countries has rapidly increased. Currently, Malaysia has jumped to the top of ASEAN's trade with China. Malaysia is one of the top ten countries in terms of import value to China. Since China put forward the "the Belt and Road" initiative, it has received extensive support from all walks of life in Malaysia, which has brought many opportunities for Malaysian enterprises. The "the Belt and Road" will help Malaysia to open up new markets, expand the market of local products and services and attract foreign investment. Malaysia has increasingly become the preferred destination for Chinese companies to "go global" in Southeast Asia. It is reported that there are about 650000 small and medium-sized enterprises in Malaysia, accounting for 98.5% of the country's enterprises.
